This swimwear designer who has presented her work at Miami Fashion Week 2009 , is the local swimwear renowned designer who has won many best swimwear category at local and regional pageants with her designs including Miss SVG and Miss Carnival.

Why fashion design? I have always consider
myself to be a creative person, always love putting outfits together I even
found that i did an even better job with swimsuits. Having establish that fact
why try doing anything different than what I love ..fashion design.

What’s the inspiration behind your collection?
The inspiration behind this collection is sexy but yet classy...its nice to be
able to put a woman in a swim suit where she can feel both sexy and classy at
the same time.A lot of women don’t get to experience this and that’s where I
come in.

How was it for doing your first collection? This
wasn’t my first collection, but like any other it takes time and commitment .

How was it presenting your first collection?
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to be at the show

Number of pieces? I displayed 9 pieces.

How was your GenX experience? It was a pleasure
being on the GenX runway.

Do you see yourself doing a follow up collection
in the future? I always do a follow up collection.

What’s your thoughts on the local fashion/style
scene in St. Vincent? I must say the
people of St. Vincent are really becoming more fashion conscience ,they are
always looking for the next new thing and that great.I thing that its up to us as designers keep up
with this growing interest of our people, once we are able to do that when we
can go a long way as designers.

Fashion and Style. Style and Fashion. The Business of
Fashion is about Style. The Business of Style is about Fashion. But none can
argue, there both about BUSINESS. As great as we are in Style and/or Fashion we
need to have that same flare, and urgency about the Business.
